A Convenient and Safe Alternative

Many traditional hair loss treatments, such as laser devices, PRP procedures, and hair transplants, are expensive and time-consuming. Hair transplants require a long recovery period, and the results are not always permanent or as expected. Dermarolling (microneedling) also carries its own risks: if performed incorrectly, it can be ineffective, damage the hair, or cause infections.

Hair loss medications, such as finasteride and minoxidil, often raise concerns about side effects. Finasteride has been linked to erectile dysfunction and mood changes*, while topical minoxidil frequently causes itching and rashes*.

Follicle Activator is a safe, convenient, and cost-effective alternative. By maintaining scalp health, it promotes hair growth without side effects. You can also use Follicle Activator safely alongside other treatments.

From the Founder

It’s great to see you’re interested in the health of your hair! Follicle Activator was born out of my own need: I noticed my hair starting to thin at the crown. My thinning hair made me look older than I was, so I decided to keep my head shaved.

I wanted to develop a serum containing high-quality, scientifically proven ingredients to support hair growth, and to market it ethically.

It’s important to recognize that nothing can truly bring back the hair you had in your youth. However, with the right products, you can significantly slow down hair loss. The ingredients in Follicle Activator have also increased hair density compared to the baseline in studies.

The best time to start preventing hair loss is as early as possible, since scalp health shows up in your hair with a delay. When you start caring for your hair now, you’ll help preserve its vitality for years to come.

Overall well-being also supports hair health. A healthy diet, regular exercise, and stress management are all reflected in your hair. That’s why, in addition to Follicle Activator, I encourage you to enjoy life, relax, and take care of yourself.

Give your hair a new chance and order Follicle Activator today.

The Science Behind Our Ingredients

  • ALGAKTIV® Densidyl:
ALGAKTIV® Densidyl has been shown in clinical studies to reduce hair graying and increase the number of hairs in the growth phase by 24%. ALGAKTIV® Densidyl stimulates hair growth up to four times faster than Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF). EGF is a protein known for promoting the renewal of skin and hair. ALGAKTIV® Densidyl is a key ingredient in Follicle Activator hair serum.
  • Serenoa Serrulata (Saw Palmetto):
Saw palmetto berry extract is a natural dihydrotestosterone (DHT) blocker. It reduces DHT binding to androgen receptors in the scalp by about 50%1. Clinical studies show reduced hair loss with saw palmetto use. For example, a systematic review found up to a 27% increase in hair count and improved hair density in about 83% of participants1.
  • Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin Seed Oil):
Pumpkin seed oil is rich in phytosterols that may inhibit 5α-reductase and DHT in the scalp2. In a placebo-controlled study on men with male-pattern hair loss, pumpkin seed oil significantly increased hair growth. After 24 weeks, the pumpkin seed group had about 40% more hair compared to baseline3.
  • Caffeine:
Caffeine stimulates hair follicle metabolism and extends the hair growth phase. In vitro studies show caffeine can counteract the negative effects of testosterone on hair growth, leading to longer hair shafts even in the presence of DHT4. Caffeine may also inhibit 5-α-reductase (the enzyme that produces DHT)5 and improve scalp blood flow5. Its antioxidant properties help protect follicles from damage5.
  • Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary Oil):
Rosemary essential oil contains compounds (such as carnosic acid) with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that may stimulate microcirculation in the scalp6. A randomized study compared 0.1 ml rosemary oil and 2% minoxidil for male-pattern baldness. After 6 months, rosemary oil was as effective as minoxidil in increasing hair count7. The rosemary group also experienced less scalp itching than the minoxidil group7. This suggests rosemary oil may promote hair growth at a similar level to conventional medication.
  • Copper Tripeptide-1:
Copper peptides (e.g. GHK-Cu) are known for their wound healing and hair growth stimulating properties.8 Studies show copper peptides can stimulate collagen production and increase expression of growth factors in hair follicles8. Clinical studies show copper peptide solutions can increase hair density and reduce hair shedding. In one comparative analysis, copper peptide treatment increased hair density by 27% in six months, nearly matching minoxidil’s efficacy but with better tolerability9. While broader studies are needed, current evidence supports copper peptides as an effective option for preventing hair loss.
  • Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Extract:
Green tea leaf extract (epigallocatechin gallate, or EGCG) has antioxidant and antiandrogenic effects on the scalp. EGCG has been shown to inhibit 5α-reductase, reducing DHT levels in hair follicles10. Laboratory studies show EGCG enhances hair growth: it lengthens the growth phase in vitro and increases the proliferation of cells involved in hair growth10. Green tea polyphenols have also been found to slow down testosterone-induced hair loss. In one small study, an EGCG solution extended the hair growth phase and improved hair density in volunteers10. Based on current research, green tea’s antioxidant and DHT-inhibiting properties make it a valuable ingredient for combating thinning hair.
  • Niacinamide (Vitamin B3):
Niacin and its derivatives can dilate blood vessels and improve the nourishment of hair follicles. In a 6-month clinical trial in women, a topical niacin derivative led to significant hair thickening11. Long-term niacin use resulted in visibly fuller hair in women with female-pattern hair loss. At the cellular level, niacinamide has been shown to protect hair follicle cells from oxidative stress and slow follicle aging12. It also reduces DKK-1 (a protein that causes follicle shrinkage) and dermal papilla cell senescence12. Niacinamide strengthens the scalp environment and extends the hair growth phase.
  • Tocopheryl Acetate/Tocopherol (Vitamin E):
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, and studies suggest it may counteract hair loss associated with oxidative stress. For example, patients with baldness have higher scalp lipid peroxidation and lower antioxidant levels13. In one study, tocotrienols (a form of vitamin E) led to an increase in hair count. After eight months, the tocotrienol group had 34.5% more hair, while the placebo group saw a slight decrease (−0.1%)13.
  • Biotin (Vitamin B7):
Biotin is essential for keratin production, and biotin deficiency leads to hair loss and brittleness. Biotin supplementation can improve hair growth if there is a deficiency14. However, in healthy individuals, extra biotin has not shown significant benefits in clinical studies14.
  • Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5):
Panthenol moisturizes and strengthens hair fibers. As pro-vitamin B5, it improves hair’s moisture balance and elasticity, possibly reducing breakage. While panthenol’s direct effect on hair growth is not well documented, it has shown benefits in combination therapies. For example, intramuscular dexpanthenol and biotin injections in patients with diffuse hair loss improved hair density and reduced shedding after a few months14. Panthenol can penetrate the hair shaft, increasing thickness and shine.
