Lift your hair so the scalp and roots are visible. Spray the serum directly onto the scalp and spread it with your fingers. Repeat across the crown to make sure all problem areas are covered.

Let the serum sit for at least one hour before washing your hair, or simply leave it on all day.

Will Follicle Activator make my hair greasy?

Saw palmetto berry extract is a natural dihydrotestosterone (DHT) blocker. It reduces DHT binding to androgen receptors in the scalp by about 50%¹. Clinical studies show reduced hair loss with saw palmetto use. For example, a systematic review found up to a 27% increase in hair count and improved hair density in about 83% of participants¹.
Cucurbita Pepo (Pumpkin Seed Oil):
Pumpkin seed oil is rich in phytosterols that may inhibit 5α-reductase and DHT in the scalp². In a placebo-controlled study on men with male-pattern hair loss, pumpkin seed oil significantly increased hair growth. After 24 weeks, the pumpkin seed group had about 40% more hair compared to baseline³.
Caffeine:
Caffeine stimulates hair follicle metabolism and extends the hair growth phase. In vitro studies show caffeine can counteract the negative effects of testosterone on hair growth, leading to longer hair shafts even in the presence of DHT⁴. Caffeine may also inhibit 5-α-reductase (the enzyme that produces DHT)⁵ and improve scalp blood flow⁵. Its antioxidant properties help protect follicles from damage⁵.
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary Oil):
Rosemary essential oil contains compounds (such as carnosic acid) with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects that may stimulate microcirculation in the scalp⁶. A randomized study compared 0.1 ml rosemary oil and 2% minoxidil for male-pattern baldness. After 6 months, rosemary oil was as effective as minoxidil in increasing hair count⁷. The rosemary group also experienced less scalp itching than the minoxidil group⁷. This suggests rosemary oil may promote hair growth at a similar level to conventional medication.
Copper Tripeptide-1:
Copper peptides are naturally occurring compounds that support healthy hair growth and scalp renewal. Laboratory studies show that GHK-Cu can stimulate hair-follicle cells, improve scalp microcirculation, and activate growth pathways such as VEGF and Wnt/β-catenin.^8,⁹
Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Extract:
Green tea leaf extract (epigallocatechin gallate, or EGCG) has antioxidant and antiandrogenic effects on the scalp. EGCG has been shown to inhibit 5α-reductase, reducing DHT levels in hair follicles¹⁰. Laboratory studies show EGCG enhances hair growth: it lengthens the growth phase in vitro and increases the proliferation of cells involved in hair growth¹⁰. Green tea polyphenols have also been found to slow down testosterone-induced hair loss. In one small study, an EGCG solution extended the hair growth phase and improved hair density in volunteers¹⁰. Based on current research, green tea’s antioxidant and DHT-inhibiting properties make it a valuable ingredient for combating thinning hair.
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3):
Niacin and its derivatives can dilate blood vessels and improve the nourishment of hair follicles. In a 6-month clinical trial in women, a topical niacin derivative led to significant hair thickening¹¹. Long-term niacin use resulted in visibly fuller hair in women with female-pattern hair loss. At the cellular level, niacinamide has been shown to protect hair follicle cells from oxidative stress and slow follicle aging¹². It also reduces DKK-1 (a protein that causes follicle shrinkage) and dermal papilla cell senescence¹². Niacinamide strengthens the scalp environment and extends the hair growth phase.
Tocopheryl Acetate/Tocopherol (Vitamin E):
Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, and studies suggest it may counteract hair loss associated with oxidative stress. For example, patients with baldness have higher scalp lipid peroxidation and lower antioxidant levels¹³. In one study, tocotrienols (a form of vitamin E) led to an increase in hair count. Biotin (Vitamin B7):
Biotin is essential for keratin production, and biotin deficiency leads to hair loss and brittleness. Biotin supplementation can improve hair growth if there is a deficiency¹⁴. However, in healthy individuals, extra biotin has not shown significant benefits in clinical studies¹⁴.
Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5):
Panthenol moisturizes and strengthens hair fibers. As pro-vitamin B5, it improves hair’s moisture balance and elasticity, possibly reducing breakage. While panthenol’s direct effect on hair growth is not well documented, it has shown benefits in combination therapies. For example, intramuscular dexpanthenol and biotin injections in patients with diffuse hair loss improved hair density and reduced shedding after a few months¹⁴.
